FT/PT Speech Pathologist - Graduate/Training - Launceston, TAS

We currently has great opportunities for dedicated Speech Pathologists to support the growth of our Allied Health team as we offer Whole of Life solutions to Tasmanians living with disability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and report on communication and swallowing disorders, organise and implement treatment for participants, and work with staff and families/caregivers on possible intervention strategies.
• Advocating for communication support for participants with communication difficulties.
• Providing mealtime management plans and helping to improve mealtimes.
• Select and utilise appropriate evidence-based practices and service delivery methods and review regularly.

Requirements:

• Professional qualification in Speech Pathology with an active membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or a willingness to attain it.
• Knowledge of NDIS and participant/family centred practices is desirable
• Current driver’s licence
• National Police Check (no older than 3 months)
• Current or ability to apply for Working with Vulnerable People Card/NDIS Worker Screening Check
