The role on offer

We currently have an opportunity to work in a part-time role in a mobile capacity

You will provide assessment and intervention services to clients in their homes, school or childcare settings in the western suburbs of Brisbane (within a 30 minute radius of 4068) within your preferred areas of practice. You will have regular opportunities and support to continue developing your clinical skills. You will complete administrative tasks at your home, or in our beautiful and dynamic Indooroopilly-based office where you will have access to a standing desk and walking pad. 

Tasks and responsibilities undertaken as part of this role include:

providing high quality, evidence-based speech pathology services to clients and their families/carers at a mobile location. 
maintaining clinical records using practice management software, Splose.
preparing detailed reports as needed within a timely manner
regular collaboration with other members of a client’s support team in order to best support the client
participating in regular supervision and professional development.

You also possess:

C class Driver's license and own vehicle
Experience and/or strong interest in Paediatric speech and language, literacy, Neurodiverse Practice, ASD, complex communicators and ADHD
Proven ability to work well as part of a team
Advanced interpersonal and written communication skills

This role can be tailored to the successful applicant, depending on their level of experience and preferences. The role on offer is a mobile position, however clinic-based service delivery at our small clinic located in Indooroopilly can be negotiated for the successful candidate.

Requirements

  • A recognised degree in Speech Pathology
  • Current Blue Card for Working with Children
  • Speech Pathology Australia membership (Certified Practising status)
  • C class Driver's license and own vehicle
  • Minimum 1 year experience.
