About Us

Kairos Speech Therapy and Learning is a Speech Pathology clinic located in North Ryde. Our clinic is growing and we are looking for a fun, passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join us. We are looking for a full time OR part time position. We are willing to be flexible for the right person. e.g. option to work full time in 4.5 days, part time, shorter days (e.g work during school hours etc). We are also open on Saturdays.

Essential criteria

  • Bachelor Degree in Speech Pathology
  • Is passionate, reliable, honest and flexible
  • Current driver's licence and own car
  • Full and current membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, and attention to detail
  • Able to work collaboratively and independently
  • Able to build strong rapport with clients and their families

 

The Speech Pathologist role requires you to:

  • Provide both in-clinic and mobile services
  • Administer assessments and therapy sessions with clients and their families/carers
  • Administer group therapy (social skills groups, language groups, School-readiness groups, literacy groups, social pairings)
  • Complete all documentation within an appropriate time frame (reports, progress notes, other documentation)
  • Liase with other professionals (teachers, educators, doctors, allied health professionals)
