Cherished Minds Psychology is a private practice located on the outskirts of Liverpool in an easily accessible location via car or public transport.

We provide services to children and adolescents (3 to 18 years) and young adults (up to the age of 30 years). Our team of passionate professionals works collaboratively to support the diverse needs of our clients, and we are seeking to expand our services to include speech therapy.

Providing Speech Services at Cherished Minds

Cherished Minds psychology is a well-established psychology clinic providing services to a range of presentations, predominately neurodevelopmental conditions. Often these clients benefit from a multidisciplinary approach.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to clients with various communication challenges. Your expertise will play a vital role in improving their communication skills and enhancing their quality of life.

About the Role

• Develop and implement individualised therapy plans tailored to client goals.
• Provide therapy for speech sound disorders, language delays, social communication challenges, and other related areas.
• Collaborate with clients, families, and caregivers to provide education and support.
• Work closely with cherished minds psychologists and external providers to provide integrated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, progress, and treatment plans.
• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in the field of speech therapy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults in a clinical or educational setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Dedication to delivering high-quality, client-focused care.
