Role Description

This is a contract role for a Remedial Massage Therapist at Wellness Centre Wollongong. As a Remedial Massage Therapist, your responsibilities will include providing massages to clients, assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, developing treatment plans, and maintaining client records. This is an on-site role located in Wollongong, NSW.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent
• Registration with a professional massage therapy association
• Experience in performing remedial massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess and tailor massage treatments to meet the individual needs of clients
• Good physical fitness and stamina
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Commitment to maintaining a high standard of professional practice and ethics
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
