Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' medical, physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs to determine their rehabilitation goals and requirements.
• Develop comprehensive rehabilitation plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
• Coordinate and monitor the implementation of rehabilitation services, including therapy sessions, medical interventions, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing support, guidance, and education to clients and their families, empowering them to actively participate in their rehabilitation journey.
• Conduct regular evaluations and assessments of clients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with the latest research, advancements, and best practices in the field of rehabilitation to enhance the quality of care provided.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health or Health Sciences, or a postgraduate qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling
• Clinical knowledge of pathologies
• Strong communication skills to build and develop relationships
• A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits 
• A current drivers' licence and access to their own vehicle
