Psych Connect is a boutique private psychology practice in the suburb of Springfield Central, and we have clinics in Springfield Lakes and Forest Lake. We are now in 5th year of operation. Our mission is to improve the lives of people who experience emotional, behavioural or cognitive challenges across their lifespans. Our team is a collection of registered and provisional psychologists. We support people experiencing a range of mental health and emotional concerns with assessment, treatment and intervention. We work hard to create a culture that is supportive and rewarding. We offer progression pathways to support your development across your career. We provide assessments and therapeutic interventions for general populations, including neurodivergent children and adults (i.e., individuals diagnosed with or exploring diagnoses such as Autism, ADHD, and Intellectual Disability).

The Role

We're expanding our team and seeking registered psychologists (general, clinical) and clinical psychologists registrars for multiple locations on a contract, part-time, or full-time salaried position. Competitive salary packages will be extended to eligible applicants. The start date can be immediate.

What we need from you:

• General registration with AHPRA.

• Medicare Provider number (or be eligible for registration).

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• A desire to contribute to a supportive team environment.

• Be competent in administering a range of assessment tools and/or be willing to expand your assessment and diagnostic skills.

• Commitment to providing high level, ethical and evidence-based interventions.

• Willingness to engage in reflective practice.

• A specific interest in working with children and families will be advantageous.

• Insurance indemnity ( we will cover this for clinical psychologist registrars)

Location:  We are based in Springfield Central and Ipswich and we are offering roles at Silkstone, Ripley, Thornland, Springfield Central and GoldCoast.

New Office: well appointed rooms, and expresso coffee, milk and snacks. 

Social events: We have many social events throughout the year, including a formal social event every 3 months, Christmas party,  celebrations in the office, and welcome drinks for new staff. 

Essential Skills

AHPRA registration as a general psychologist (or will receive within 4 weeks from application).
