About the Role

• Support participants to achieve their goals through tailored therapy plans.
• Observe and evaluate patients to assess the nature and extent of their psychological disorders.
• Help patients establish realistic goals and advise on suitable treatment options.
• Plan and conduct programs to address mental health challenges.
• Administer therapy to address psychological issues and support patient recovery.
• Conduct patient follow-ups and manage referrals appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Work independently and manage your time efficiently.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of a person-centred approach.
• Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to connect with participants.

About the Ideal Candidate

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Psychology or equivalent (AHPRA registration required).
• Membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Experience working in the mental health industry.
• Experience working with Autism and other disabilities.
• Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).
