About the job

SEEKING PSYCHOLOGISTS FOR BRAND NEW PRACTICE- ROLES WITH FOCUS ON EMOTION REGULATION DISORDERS

Multiple psychologist roles available in exciting new Lindfield practice focusing on ADHD, OCD, eating disorders, borderline personality disorder and trauma.

Are you keen to join a warm, friendly and professional team in Lindfield on Sydney’s north shore?

We’re looking for early-to-mid-career AHPRA-registered psychologists (general/clinical/ forensic) and/or provisional psychologists close to registration to join our brand-new mental health service in Lindfield, Sydney.

We specialise in the treatment of emotion dysregulation and are looking for psychologists who can connect with complex, ‘hard to treat’ clients who may be neurodiverse or highly anxious. We receive much of our work through psychiatrists and GPs who have a special interest in mental health, trauma and/or forensic issues.

The roles are open to both permanent employees and contractors. Full-time, part-time and hybrid working options are available. Salaries will match qualifications and experience.

About us

We’re Helping Humans Thrive… and our name is both our brand and what we do best!

Established by Principal Psychologist and board-approved supervisor Alison Lenehan, Helping Humans Thrive is a new practice that utilises a dialectical approach to what we do. Our practice model fosters a culture of trust and proactive problem solving. We seek to be candid, fostering alignment and a shared vision with regular check-ins. Our robust internal support system empowers our team to feel and function at their best.

Helping Humans Thrive is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all our employees.

As one of our psychologists you will receive:

1. resourcing and high level support so you can gain a sense of satisfaction from your work and develop superior skills in building a strong therapeutic alliance.

2. the opportunity to participate in group programs such as DBT skills groups (if desired, no prior training necessary). These groups complement individual therapy well.

3. access to our full-time reception team, online check-in and paperless client management system.

4. combination of formal and informal supports to provide ‘wraparound’ support for you, which will fuel you and remind you why you do this incredible work.

5. daily, weekly and monthly check-ins, regular peer supervision and professional development opportunities, all designed to foster a great culture.

6. an invitation to attend our annual off-site meeting/retreat (for reflection, planning and team bonding).

7. free allocated undercover parking space.

About you

We’re looking for warm, friendly, fun and vibrant professionals who will thrive in our growth-focused practice.

You must:

· be AHPRA registered and eligibile to apply for a Medicare provider number

· be willing to work a minimum of 2 days per week

· have Professional Indemnity Insurance & Public Liability Insurance (as required under AHPRA)
