Telehealth Psychologist Role with opportunity for hybrid and face to face role.

About the Job:

As a Psychologist with a passion in Eating Disorders, ADHD, and Trauma at Immersive Psychology Group, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals on their path to recovery. You will have the opportunity to work flexibly, and connect with clients in our beautiful clinic, providing evidence-based therapy and support tailored to their unique needs.

What you will do:

• Conduct assessments and provide individual sessions for clients with eating disorders, ADHD, autism, and trauma.
• Develop and implement treatment plans that are specific to each client's condition and goals.
• Collaborate closely with health care team members including doctors, dieticians, and psychiatrists.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research, interventions, and treatment modalities in your areas of interest.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings.

We would like:

• Full AHPRA registered psychologist (general or clinical)
• Active state licensure as a psychologist.
• Strong interest and passion in assessment and treating and supporting those with eating disorders, neurodiversity and trauma, and or desire to obtain training in these areas.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
• Proficiency in using Telehealth platforms and technology.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
• Access to a device with a high-quality internet, webcam and microphone.
• An Australian Business Number.
• Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Even better:

• Experience in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders, support for ADHD, Autism, and trauma, including being an CEDC
• Experience and training in trauma therapies including Schema Therapy, and EMDR
• Experience and training in ED interventions, including, CBT-E and FBT
