Psychologist

 

Sureway Health & Wellbeing deliver a comprehensive range of services including expert psychology and counselling services.  We work with a wide variety of clients, both in person and via telehealth and provide services to NDIS participants, Medicare funded clients and to our internally funded Employment Services participants.  If successful, you will join our highly experienced team of psychologists and counsellors, providing quality and caring supports to people with psychosocial issues.

This role provides face to face services from our Port Adelaide office and also offers flexibility to provide some telehealth services from home.  We can negotiate your days and hours flexibly with you, with the option to work either full or part time, to a schedule that suits your needs.

With a client centered and compassionate approach, you will deliver expert evidence base mental health support using age appropriate therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs.

You will have:

• A track record of utilising evidence-based intervention strategies and techniques to overcome barriers that prevent clients from achieving their goals;

• Competence to work independently with excellent time management, administrative and report writing skills

• Ability to liaise effectively with other health professionals and service providers
• Experience working with NDIS participants (desirable but not essential)

Experience/Qualifications

Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist.  Newly registered psychologists welcome.

Provisional psychologists who are nearing completion of their internship year are also encouraged to apply.

Medicare provider number (or eligibility to apply).

This position requires the successful applicant to undertake a National Police Check, NDIS Workers Check and relevant state-based screens. Applicants also must have the right to work in Australia.
