Our facilities include comfortable consultation rooms, a sunlit outdoor space, and a well-equipped resource hub, creating an ideal environment for both clients and staff. Our mission is to provide person-centred care, with a special focus on children and adolescents. We also offer skills workshops around game/play therapy to enhance therapeutic outcomes. - We have successfully supported many Provisional Psychologists through supervision under guidance of our CEO, Janice James-Valentine.

Role Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Psychologist/Provisional Psychologist to join our dynamic team. In this full-time, on-site role, you will provide high-quality counselling and psychological services, conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop effective support plans for a wide range of needs. - There is even an opportunity to develop your own niche.

You will also be responsible for maintaining detailed client records, ensuring they meet ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications

• Provisional Psychologist registration or full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Strong skills in psychology and counselling
• Proven experience in mental health services and psychological assessments
• Strong understanding of psychological terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidential records
• Experience working with diverse populations and strong cultural sensitivity
• Additional qualifications or training in therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or trauma-informed care are highly desirable
