Rural Mental Health, focused in Eating Disorders & Trauma | Flexible Telehealth Role

Are you a skilled psychologist with expertise in eating disorders and EMDR therapy, looking for a flexible role that makes a meaningful difference? Regenerative Psychology is seeking a contractor to join our growing telehealth practice. This position requires a commitment of at least 2 days per week and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of clients aged 16+ from rural and remote areas.

Regenerative Psychology is a 100% telehealth practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adults in regional, rural, and remote Australia. Our core services include support for eating disorders, trauma, chronic pain, and neurodivergent clients. We are committed to closing the gap in rural mental health care by offering accessible, expert support tailored to the unique challenges of these communities.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a psychologist who meets the following criteria:

• ABN: Required for contracting purposes.
• Full AHPRA Registration: Current and unrestricted.
• Current Indemnity Insurance: Valid professional indemnity insurance policy.
• Medicare Provider Number: Must hold a Medicare provider number or be eligible to obtain one.
• EMDR Training: Formal training and demonstrated experience in delivering EMDR therapy.
• Eating Disorder Services: Proven expertise in providing evidence-based treatment for clients with eating disorders under Medicare (e.g., CBT-E, DBT).
• Trauma Experience: Skilled in trauma-informed care, particularly with rural and remote populations.
• Tech-Ready: High-quality video and audio setup for delivering seamless telehealth services.
• Availability: A minimum commitment of 2 days per week, with flexibility to manage a consistent caseload.
• Autonomy: Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of care and client outcomes.
