Practice Nurse

Brookside Family Clinic is looking for a motivated, patient centric General Practice Nurse to join our team. The clinic boasts a supportive team environment, with highly professional medical practitioners, nurses, administration and support team members.

Position available for immediate start.

Successful candidate will possess:

• excellent communication skills
• current AHPRA registration
• current CPR certificate
• a genuine interest in primary care nursing and understanding the needs of general practice
• ability to work independently and with a team - always reliable
• provide a caring and collaborative approach to patient care
• excellent computer skills and proficiency with medical software
• current, cold chain and AIR knowledge
• up to date wound care knowledge
• childhood and adult vaccination
• ECG's, spirometry, ear syringing, sterilising and infection control
• chronic disease management, care plans and health assessments is preferable, however in its absence a keen desire to learn
• experience with result recall and health reminder procedures
