Practice Nurse

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and professional EN or RN to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity. The ideal candidate will be caring, well-organised, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. This role involves all aspects of general practice nursing, supporting our patients, doctors, and the broader team.

Essential Criteria:

• Current Registration as an EN or RN Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Current National Police Clearance.
• Current First-Aid Certificate

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform adult & childhood immunisations
• Manage wound care, ensuring best practices and patient comfort.
• Oversee chronic health management, providing consistent and thorough care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
• Deliver compassionate patient care, prioritising their well-being and health.
• Adapt to changing circumstances with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Strive for continuous improvement and high standards in patient care.

Desirable Skills (Not Essential):

• Previous Practice Nurse experience.
• Immunisation Accreditation certification.
• Knowledge of Best Practice software.
• COVID-19 vaccination training.
• Experience in Chronic Disease Management.
• Experience conducting Pre-Employment Medicals.
