Practice Nurse

Wicklow Avenue Medical Centre is a private billing, GP owned practice in Croydon. Their practice is a dynamic and fast paced environment.

They are looking for an experienced Division 1 or enrolled practice nurse to join their friendly clinical team.

The position is casual, working a 9 day fortnight, for approximately 3 months, which may be extended.

Applicants must have a current AHPRA registration, CPR certification, and professional indemnity insurance.

The position involves:

• Triaging and managing patient care
• Wound management
• Immunisation
• Assisting with procedures
• Health assessments
• Chronic disease management
• Patient education
• Stock management
• Equipment monitoring

The successful applicant:

• Will demonstrate excellent customer service, with the ability to prioritize, and problem solve when needed
• Be a team player
• Have strong organisational skills, and attention to detail
• Have the ability to multitask in busy situations, whilst maintaining a consistent and professional approach to all situations.

Previous experience using Best Practice software would be an advantage.
