Practice Nurse

We have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our well-established practice in Belmont NSW 2280.

As part of the team, you will be working with 4 doctors and 2 other Registered nurses in a well-established team that is looking for someone else that thrives on being busy and shares empathy and compassion to our patients.

The position is 3 days per week or 16-24 hours per week and can be negotiated as casual or permanent part-time.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:
Reporting to, and with the support of, the Practice Manager, you will be a vital member of the team in contributing to the success of the Practice, with key responsibilities entailing:

• Wound Management
• Immunisations
• Procedures
• Health Assessment and chronic disease management plans
• Treatment Room & Stock Management
• Triage – over the phone and in person
• Infection Control
• Accreditation
• Quality improvement
• Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold strict confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the medical team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Offer health education and support to patients and their families.
• Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up care.

• The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
• Minimum of 12 months nursing experience, General practice experience is not required, but preferable
• Immunisation Accreditation
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Current CPR Certification
• You will be required to provide full working rights and a current Working with Children Check and Police Check (or apply for these prior to commencing employment.).
• Qualified Practice Nurse with relevant certifications.
• AHPRA registration and eligibility to work in Australia.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Best Practice experience
