Practice Nurse - EN/EEN/RN

Join our expanding nursing team as an EN/EEN/RN in our General Practice in the heart of Umina!

Are you an experienced EN/EEN/RN or New Graduate with a clinical background in Primary Health Care?

We invite you to become a valued member of our growing healthcare team. We are seeking a team player with strong critical thinking skills, who can work both independently and collaboratively in our dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and implement nursing interventions with a commitment to quality improvement, practice development, and evidence-based practice.
• Conduct Health Assessment’s, GP Management Plans & Team Care Arrangements.
• Cold chain management
• Assisting with NIP Immunisation programs
• Assisting with minor + major surgical procedures, removal of sutures and wound care.
• Assisting with Iron Infusions
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a Primary Health Care Setting.
• Offer healthcare-related education to patients as needed.

Requirements:

• You have the current authority to practice as EN/EEN/RN with the Australian Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).
• Previous experience in Primary Health Care or a willingness to learn.
• Current CPR or ALS certificate
• You have demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Strong critical thinking abilities
• Nurse Immunisation Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Evidence of COVID-19 + Influenza Immunisations
