Podiatrist

My Health Plus is an allied health centre located in Coburg North close to public transport. Our centre has been established for over 10 years and is embedded in the local community. It was fully renovated six years ago and provides a welcoming and attractive space for patients. We have a good relationship with surrounding GP clinics to offer practitioners a wide range of linguistically diverse clients.

About the Role

We currently have one podiatry room; it is  well-lit and pleasant space. We are seeking an experienced podiatrist to join our friendly team. There is currently one Podiatrist that works at the clinic on Mondays and Fridays and we are looking to bring onboard an additional Podiatrist. Preferred days and times can be negotiated. Our current podiatry services include assessment, care planning and treatment of a range of conditions and presentations. We currently do not offer nail surgeries, however we are open to offer this service in the future.

Admin support provided to assist with booking appointments, processing payments, debt collection

You have a good knowledge base and skill level with a commitment to further professional development. You'll draw upon your experience and tertiary qualifications in Podiatry to give our clients a high quality of care.

Essential Criteria

Bachelor of Podiatry or Master of Podiatric Practice (or equivalent) and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration

One year's experience working as a Podiatrist, preferably in Community Health or a hospital

Medicare provider eligibility

Current ABN if applying as a sole trader

Current  Private Indemnity Insurance

Competent in all aspects of clinical care, including general treatments, biomechanics, paediatrics and diabetes assessments

Reliable with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to form respectful and professional relationships
