Physiotherapist

Marna Physio is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Physiotherapist to join the team across our Armstrong Creek and Waurn Ponds clinics. As a Physiotherapist, you will see a mix of mainly musculoskeletal patients. Clinics have access to state of the art gyms, pilates equipment and local pool for hydrotherapay.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from both experienced Physiotherapists, and also passionate New-Graduate Physiotherapists open to learning and starting their career in private practice.

What we will provide you:

Salary Package

Between 85-105k per year (inclusive of leave, super and PD package).

Continuing Education

Marna strongly encourages ongoing professional development and is committed to offering the best continual learning opportunities. We pride ourselves on our extensive list of continuing education options and are always open to more suggestions!

Mentoring

One-on-one mentoring is offered (and considered essential!) to new graduates. Weekly sessions are used to discuss clinical questions, refresh practical skills and discuss any ‘gaps’ in knowledge. Mentoring can also be used for topics like optimising time management skills, creating a good work life balance or how to improve skills such as motivational interviewing.

Shadowing in clinic

Shadowing of other physios is allowed and encouraged! Observing can provide invaluable skills that can be translated into your practice. This may include observing an initial consultation and discussing treatment options / differential diagnosis. Shadowing is also used as a way to give each other constructive feedback.

Open door policy

Senior clinicians will stop to answer queries at any time. You will always be rostered on with a physio next to you. If you ever feel like guidance or a have quick on the spot question during a patient consult, someone will always be there to help!

Shadowing Surgery

There are many surgeons in the region who are very welcoming to physios observing different surgical procedures. If you are interested, discuss this with your clinic mentor and they can assist you in finding a suitable surgeon and procedure to view.

Inservices

Inservices are held approximately every 6-8 weeks. We utilise both internal and external presenters during these sessions. It is typically held at midday on a Wednesday with lunch and good laughs provided.

Allowances

Marna will contribute 50% of all CPD courses up to $1000 for a full time employee (pro rata) and highly encourage it! We also help you identify the courses that will be the most beneficial for you.

Marna will ensure you never feel like you are 'plateauing' in your career. We can help guide you through both clinical specialities and business development.
