About Us

Inner Balance Health is a multidisciplinary studio offering a full holistic healthcare system, including physiotherapy, exercise physiology, a clinical pilates studio, and massage therapy. Established four years ago by myself, the clinic has become a trusted provider in the community. After years of managing both full-time patient care and clinic operations, I’m seeking a motivated and skilled physiotherapist to join us as Physiotherapist & Clinical Director.

This role offers a rare and exciting opportunity to take on an equity partnership and become a co-owner of the business.

Having founded and built the clinic, I’ve reached a point of burnout and am looking for someone who is ready to step into a leadership role, share in the clinic’s success, and help it grow further.

The Opportunity

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Offers like this do not come around often. You are being offered the chance to run and own a physiotherapy clinic without the risks and challenges of starting one from scratch. Instead of dealing with the complexities and financial burdens of opening a new clinic, you’ll be stepping into a profitable, well-established practice with a full caseload already in place.

As the Physiotherapist & Clinical Director, you will:

  • Oversee clinical operations, ensuring the highest standards of care while managing the physiotherapy team
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and rehabilitation programs- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, helping them grow and excel in their roles- Contribute to the clinic’s business strategy and future growth- Take on an equity partnership, sharing in the financial success of the clinic- Enjoy flexible hours that allow for a balanced work-life experience, tailored to your schedule
  • This is an opportunity to lead the charge in a successful clinic without the endless hours of managing the business alone.
  • I am seeking a partner, someone who is passionate about growing the clinic while enjoying the benefits of ownership.

What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a physiotherapist who is ready to take that big step in their career to own and run a successful physiotherapy clinic.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Mature and professional: Ready to take on the responsibility of running a clinic and leading a team
  • AHPRA registered: Ensuring compliance with Australian health standards
  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy: A relevant degree in physiotherapy from an accredited institution
  • Experienced: At least 5 years of clinical experience, with the ability to manage both patients and a team of professionals
  • Entrepreneurial: Passionate about owning and growing a business, and ready to take on a leadership role in the clinic

Why Join Us:

  • Equity Ownership: Take on an ownership stake in the clinic and benefit from its long-term success and growth.
  • Once-in-a-Lifetime Opportunity: Step into a profitable clinic with a full caseload and high commission payment. No need to start from scratch or bear the risks of opening your own business.
  • Work-Life Balance: Enjoy flexible hours and a fulfilling career in Darwin’s vibrant, relaxed lifestyle.
  • Multidisciplinary Team: Work with a collaborative team of professionals, including exercise physiologists, massage therapists, and pilates instructors.
  • Professional Development: Take on a leadership role that offers room for growth and allows you to continue practicing physiotherapy.
  • Competitive Salary & Benefits: Along with an attractive base salary, you will benefit from profit-sharing and long-term rewards from equity ownership.

Job Requirements: Co-owning and running a physiotherapy / health clinic comes with several key requirements/ responsibilities;

1. Professional Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered Physiotherapist: The clinic owner must have the appropriate educational background (typically a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy) and be registered with the relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA in Australia).
  • Clinical Experience: A minimum number of years practicing physiotherapy (usually 5+ years) ensures the owner has enough hands-on experience and clinical knowledge to lead a clinic effectively.
  • Specialised Knowledge: Familiarity with the range of services offered in the clinic (e.g., pilates, massage therapy, exercise physiology) is crucial for understanding the needs of both patients and the multidisciplinary team.

2. Leadership and Management Skills

  • Team Leadership: Strong ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of physiotherapists, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Operational Management: Proficiency in managing clinic operations, including scheduling, budgeting, compliance with regulations, and handling client relations.

  • Marketing & Business Growth: The ability to market the clinic, grow its client base, and explore new services or partnerships to enhance profitability.
