Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Do you want to work with a team who makes a difference supporting children and their families?
Do you want to work with a team who look after and support each other and who make each day of work fun?
Then this role is for you!
Due to the demand for OT services for children in our area, an exciting opportunity has arising to join our growing team.
Melville Occupational Therapy is a vibrant private practice in Myaree. It is a well-established business that is well resourced and has a strong support base in the community and many schools in the area. Our service is balanced with providing services for a good mix of NDIS and private clients aged 0 to 18 years. We have a customised sensory gym together with many other therapy spaces. Interventions are conducted within the clinic environment as well as home and school-based interventions.
Under new ownership since November 2022 and taken over by a long time employee of organisation. The same philosophies remain, allowing Melville OT to strive and continue to support all the children and families we work with, to reach their full potential.
We pride ourselves on providing a supportive and enthusiastic work environment. Professional development is highly valued and encouraged. The caseload is varied, and we encourage the therapists to work to their strengths and passions. Modalities include sensory-based approaches, cognitive approaches, visual and auditory interventions, play-based and developmental approaches, task analysis, remediation and scaffolding, self-care and ADL interventions. Therapy includes psychosocial, fine and gross motor, sensory processing, visual and auditory processing and we work with a wide range of conditions and abilities.
