Our client is a specialized pediatric therapy clinic focusing on physical and movement-based goals for children aged 0-18 with complex disabilities and developmental delays. They primarily serve NDIS clients and offer a range of therapies, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and feeding therapy.

They are known for their intensive therapy model, which involves three-week intensive blocks, allowing for significant progress and strong therapist-client relationships.
Our client offers comprehensive training and induction programs for new therapists, ensuring a gradual and supportive transition. They also integrate specialized services and modalities, such as IMOT, Spidercage, Neurosuit, and DMI, which are not commonly available at other clinics.
About the role:
Are you a Speech Pathologist who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential? As a paediatric Speech Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping children overcome a wide range of communication and feeding challenges. You will work closely with children and their families to develop individualized treatment plans and implement effective therapy techniques.
- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and feeding difficulties.
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's specific needs and goals.
- Therapy Delivery: Implement a variety of evidence-based therapy techniques, including oral motor exercises, articulation therapy, language therapy, social skills training, and feeding therapy.
- Family Education and Counseling: Provide guidance and support to families regarding communication strategies, home practice activities, and adaptive equipment.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as occupational therapists, physical therapists, and special education teachers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to child development.
- AAC Implementation: Provide expertise in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and strategies, considering each child's unique needs and abilities.

Essential criteria:
- Bachelors of higher degree in Speech Pathology.
- Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably with children with complex communication needs.
- Strong clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and their families.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and current trends in pediatric speech-language pathology.
