About the role:
As the successful applicant, your duties as a Senior Occupational Therapist will include but not be limited to:
- providing occupational therapy services to children and families with range of methods (incl. play, sensory and behavioural approaches)
- mentoring a team of up to 4 occupational therapists and support staff
- developing/implementing evidence-based therapy programs tailored to the specific goals and preferences of each child and family.
- working closely with families/educators to provide education and strategies to create supportive & inclusive environments
- maintaining detailed & accurate records of all interactions with clients.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Full Australian working rights essential
- Bachelor in Occupational Therapy or higher from a recognised university
- Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
- Min. 3 years paediatric occupational therapy experience, with proven leadership and clinical abilities.
- Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle
- Current WwC Check and National Police Check
