Paediatric Occupational Therapist

The opportunity

PHYZFIT Health & Rehab is seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families in the Bexley North NSW 2207 area. This is a part-time role with flexible hours (with view of increasing to full-time), allowing you to balance your work and personal commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs of each child
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to help children reach their full potential
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care
• Provide therapy, support, and educational services in a clinic, school, or home-based setting
• Document progress and maintain accurate client records
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
• Work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to provide the best treatment approach for each client

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with children, preferably in a paediatric setting

• Strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each child
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with families and other professionals
• Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families
• Mixed caseload - Predominately working with paediatric with infrequent older patients
