About the job

Join the STRIVE TRIBE today and…

  • be the best OT you can be
  • achieve results for your clients
  • work with an adults only caseload
  • be part of regular clinical support
  • be part of a growing team
  • not let work rule your life
  • be part of a workplace that values you as a person and not a number

Start With Us Today!

Strive to Thrive Therapy are throwing the doors open to OTs who are ready to THRIVE WITH US!

We support people living with physical, intellectual and psychosocial limitations that make them feel they have lost autonomy over their life, utilise funding available to them to develop their life skills, confidence and achieve a greater level of independence.

At Strive to Thrive Therapy we firmly believe that every OT, no matter their experience, can thrive and achieve great things in a workplace that truly values them as professional AND a person with a life outside of the workplace.

What You'll Be Up To!

  • Problem-Solve Like a Pro: Assess clients and design personalised plans to help them tackle their everyday challenges.
  • Get Hands-On: From equipment recommendations to minor home modifications and therapy, you’ll build skills and create environments where clients can thrive.
  • Mix It Up: As a mobile therapist, this gives you flexibility to work from home, a cafe or office in between visiting our clients in their home.
  • Be a Lifelong Learner: You have a desire to stay on top of best practices with ongoing training and development.
  • Make a Difference: Every day, you’ll help people take control and live life on their terms.

Your Typical Work Week Looks Like:

  • Monday: Non-client facing day dedicated to team meetings, admin and reporting (no face-to-face appointments).
  • Tuesday to Friday: Client-facing days with in-person appointments.

Why Join the Strive Tribe?

As an Occupational Therapist with us, you’ll empower lives every day, making a tangible difference for NDIS, My Aged Care and DVA clients. But it’s not just about changing lives—we want you to enjoy your own! Join a supportive, fun-loving team that values work-life balance just as much as we value excellence in client care. Here’s what the Strive Tribe offers:

  • Flexible Work Schedule: Your schedule, your way.
  • Professional Development: We’re here to support your growth and keep your skills sharp with ongoing training, a PD allowance and clear pathways to specialise or move into leadership. Your career progression is just as important as your day-to-day impact!
  • Supportive Team Environment: Be part of a close-knit, growing team that’s always ready to lend a hand, have a laugh or sip a coffee. We never want you to feel alone.
  • Dedicated Administrative Support: Full admin support for arranging appointments, handling billing and writing letters allows you to focus entirely on client care and outcomes.
  • Impactful Work: Help our clients live their best lives. You’ll create lasting changes that keep people thriving in their own homes.
  • Great Pay & Benefits: Competitive salary packages with extra perks, including bonus scheme, paid travel and expenses, paid birthday off, floating public holidays, career progression opportunities.
  • Team Building & Events: Enjoy regular team lunches, outings and team-building activities that foster connection, collaboration and a fun work atmosphere.

What You'll Bring to the Strive Tribe

We’re looking for passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapists who are ready to make a difference. Here’s what we’re after:

  • Qualifications: You’re a qualified Occupational Therapist with full AHPRA registration (and maybe a secret love for a coffee and croissant). 12 months+ experience is preferred.
  • NDIS & Aged Care Experience: If you’ve worked with NDIS participants or aged care clients, fantastic! If not, a passion to learn and grow in these areas is what counts.
  • Therapeutic Skills: You’ve got the know-how to assess, plan and implement strategies to help clients live independently and you’re always looking for creative solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Whether you're writing a report or chatting with clients, your communication is always clear, compassionate and tailored to the relevant stakeholder.
  • Team Player: You love working in a team, sharing knowledge and celebrating group successes. The more brains the better - we’re all about collaboration here.
  • Driver’s License: A valid Australian driver’s license is essential with access to a suitable, fully insured car.
  • Other bits and bobs: Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue and Yellow Card, First Aid and CPR & Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
