About the job

Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for an exciting opportunity with a new and agile company? Haven is seeking passionate individuals who understand the NDIS and are keen to make a difference in the lives of NDIS participants of all ages in the Perth metro area.

About Us:

At Haven, we are committed to providing personalised, person and family-centered services to individuals with disabilities under the NDIS. We are a forward-thinking company that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence in what we do. Each referral we receive is reviewed individually to ensure it's a perfect match for our Occupational Therapists.

Why Join Haven?

Feel Valued: At Haven, you're important to us. You will have the opportunity to help us improve what we do, to innovate, and to be remunerated fairly.

Clients Matter: Our focus is always on the individual needs of our clients. We take a holistic approach to therapy, tailoring our services to each participant's unique goals and aspirations.

Flexible Work: We understand the importance of work-life balance. Flexibility is different for everyone, so tell us what flexibility looks like to you to allow you to manage your schedule while delivering top-notch services to our clients.

Supportive Team: Join a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of NDIS participants. Collaboration and mentorship opportunities are abundant at Haven.

One Size Doesn’t Fit All: We’re not a traditional 9am to 5pm employer. We will work out a contract arrangement that works for Haven - that is clients, the business, and you!

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver functional capacity assessments to identify individual needs, strengths, and goals.
  • Provide hands-on therapy and interventions as needed.
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with clients, their families, and stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with NDIS requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in Occupational Therapy and the NDIS.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience working with NDIS participants is highly preferred.
