At My Rehab Team (MRT), we are a local community allied health group, providing occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and exercise physiology services. As an occupational therapist, you will work alongside consumers to support and identify goals, provide up-to-date evidence-based practice, and collaborate with other allied health professionals.

A Day in the Life of an Occupational Therapist:

• Understand the role of community occupational therapy within Aged Care (home care package), NDIS, and other funding streams.
• Complete functional home and safety assessments via our online system, equipment prescription, report writing, builder communication and liaison, modification scope of works, education to relevant stakeholders, and tailored evidence-based interventions to achieve consumer goals.
• Develop consumer-centred goals using our client profile system and plan tailored therapy.
• Support clinicians within your workspace, focusing on learning and professional development.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and effective consumer management and service delivery.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA Registration
• Openness to learning and new opportunities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional upkeep and customer service skills
