Occupational Therapist

Enable Me Occupational Therapy is a small family owned and run business that is based in Moorebank, in South Western Sydney. We operate a mobile service to homes and schools. We aim to provide a quality and responsive service that enables people to live as indepently as possible no matter their age or ability.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing therapy services to NDIS participants and Home Care clients, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence based interventions to help clients improve their physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being. This role is located in South Western Sydney, NSW and the eligble candidate must be willing to drive to clients located within 30 minutes of their residential address.

A part-time position will be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
• Valid drivers licence and comprehensively insured car
• Experience working in a clinical or rehabilitation setting or in the NDIS or HCP space is prefered but not essential
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
• Commitment to continued professional development
• Experience with assistive technology and adaptive equipment is a plus
