About the role:

As the successful applicant, your duties as a Senior Occupational Therapist will include but not be limited to:

• providing occupational therapy services to children and families with range of methods (incl. play, sensory and behavioural approaches)
• mentoring a team of up to 4 occupational therapists and support staff
• developing/implementing evidence-based therapy programs tailored to the specific goals and preferences of each child and family.
• working closely with families/educators to provide education and strategies to create supportive & inclusive environments
• maintaining detailed & accurate records of all interactions with clients.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Full Australian working rights essential
• Bachelor in Occupational Therapy or higher from a recognised university
• Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
• Min. 3 years paediatric occupational therapy experience, with proven leadership and clinical abilities.
• Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle
• Current WwC Check and National Police Check
