About You:

As a Mobile Speech Pathologist, you’ll play a crucial role in improving the communication abilities and quality of life for our clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Mobile Assessments and Interventions: Provide on-the-go assessments and interventions for clients on the NDIS.
  • AAC Utilization: Assist children and adults in using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices effectively in their daily lives.
  • Dysphagia Management: Assess and provide interventions for clients with swallowing difficulties.
  • Communication Therapy: Deliver flexible and functional communication therapy for both children and adults.
  • Rehabilitation Services: Work with adults whose language, speech, or voice has been affected by surgery, disabilities, or brain injuries.
  • Early Intervention: Offer early language and speech intervention for children.
  • Client Support: Provide continuous support, advice, and information to clients, families, and other significant individuals (such as friends, carers, and educators) to foster better communication interactions.
  • Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Speech Pathology.
    • Valid membership with the Speech Pathology Association (SPA).
    • Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and their representatives.
    • Competence in managing a caseload and administrative responsibilities effectively.
