The Role:

As a key member of the Meta Healthcare team, you will be conducting Physiotherapy services to not only improve physical health but also nurture independence and joy in our clients’ lives. This role offers a rich combination of clinical expertise and caring treatment, with responsibilities in both gym environments and clients’ homes, ensuring a comprehensive and accessible service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine client needs and goals, customizing treatment plans to each individual.
• Manage a varied caseload, serving clients of various ages, skills, and conditions, adapting your communication and treatment methods to suit each individual’s preferences and needs.
• Provide and oversee physical therapy programs in different settings, such as gyms, homes, pools, aiming to improve movement, power, and general well-being.
• A specialist in developing and delivering rehabilitative programs for workplace injuries, using evidence-based and best-practice approaches.
• Represent clients’ needs during NDIS plan review meetings, working closely with our allied health team and support workers to ensure integrated care and support strategies.
• Provide hands-on one to one/group therapeutic interventions, instructing clients through exercises and providing education on maintaining progress.
• Empower clients and their families with knowledge and strategies for ongoing improvement.
• Work with our dedicated team of allied health professionals, support staff, and administration to provide a holistic approach to care.
• Produce clear and detailed reports on the outcomes, progress, and feedback of clients, including those with
• Workcover claims, using the relevant tools and templates.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to team meetings, fostering a culture of support and continuous improvement.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration.
• An individual with previous experience in disability care or community physiotherapy (preferred).
• A professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to motivate and support our clients.
• Someone who values teamwork as much as independence and is committed to making a meaningful difference.
• A current holder of Working with Childrens Check, Police Check, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance.
• A diligent practitioner with a valid driver’s licence and reliable transport, ready to provide mobile healthcare services.
