Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a casual to join our team that would be able to be on call for sick leave/annual leave and to be able to be a part of our reception team during busy times at our practice.

Experience in Medical Reception would be preferable but would train the right applicant.

We are a very busy practice located at Belmont and have 4 doctors and 2 nurses. Our practice is growing and we are wishing to have a casual medical receptionist who can cover sick leave and annual leave and also work in the clinic during busy times.

This position would suit someone that is not looking for full time work.

Our hours are 8-4.30 Monday to Friday with no weekend work required.

The main duties include

● Use medical software for booking appointments, medical billing

● Collect patient information accurately and comprehensively

● Check in patients upon arrival at consultations

● Take payments, conduct invoicing and receipting of patient accounts and undertake daily banking reconciliation

● Keep the office, consulting rooms and kitchen areas tidy and clean

● Other reception and administration duties as required.
