Medical Receptionist

Bracken Ridge Family Practice is a family friendly GP practice striving to deliver kind, quality and respectful care throughout a patient’s visit to Bracken Ridge Family Practice. We are seeking a casual Medical Receptionist to join our administrative team. 

Hours: Approximately 20 hours a week.

Experience with Best Practice Software.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Meeting and greeting of patients with a high level of kindness and courtesy
• Booking/rescheduling of appointments
• Pprocessing of Medicare and private payments 
• strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.

• Answering of phone calls
• Scanning, faxing and uploading of documents to patient charts
• Supporting our GP's to assist them to deliver quality care
• Working with the rest of the admin team to keep the reception area running smoothly and efficiently
