Our Client:

A well-established hospital in Launceston, Tasmania, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Anaesthetist Staff Specialist to join their team for a series of locum placements.

The Role:

In this locum position, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective anaesthesia services to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures. You will work collaboratively with surgeons, theatre staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. The role includes:

• Administering anaesthesia for a range of surgical procedures.
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and physiological parameters.
• Managing potential complications during surgery.
• Providing post-operative care in the recovery room.

Key Dates:

The locum placement will consist of several rotations across the following dates:

• September 2nd - 6th, 2024
• September 9th - 13th, 2024
• September 30th - October 4th, 2024
• October 7th - 11th, 2024

What We Need:

• Specialist Registration with AHPRA: You must be a fully registered medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold specialist registration in Anaesthesia.
• Excellent Clinical Skills and Experience: A strong background in anaesthesia with a proven ability to manage diverse surgical cases is essential.
• Exceptional Communication and Teamwork Skills: You will collaborate effectively with a team of healthcare professionals and build rapport with patients.
• Adaptability and Resilience: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations is crucial.

Remuneration and Relocation:

• Highly competitive daily rate of $3,000.
• Relocation support, including flights, comfortable accommodation, and a car, will be provided to facilitate your locum experience.
