Locum Podiatrist

A well remunerated four week locum podiatry role in Beenleigh and local surrounds. You will be responsible for covering our principal podiatrist case load whist he is away on leave.

All aspects of lower limb care covered.

You will be required to provide:

• Comprehensive 3D gait assessments and biomechanical management plans.
• Point of contact shock wave therapy.
• Assessment and prescription of custom foot orthotics.
• Nail surgery as indicated.
• Comprehensive NDIS planning and treatment.
• Paediatric assessment, planning and treatment.
• A knowledge base of the impact of disability related pathology in the lower limb.
• Diabetes foot risk assessments and education on prevention care strategies.
• One day a week is at an offsite location in Inala (Wed).
• One home visit afternoon per week to complex high needs clients (Max five clients in a run).

A training week is provided two weeks before the locum commencement. 

Locum dates Monday, 26th August – Friday, 20th September.

Remuneration is based on a 38 hour working week and paid in $4,000 fortnightly instalments plus $1,500 on completion of week four contract week + super.

Accommodation and a car can be provided for interstate applicants if required.
