We are seeking a skilled GP/ED VMO to join our team in a vibrant coastal town. Experience the stunning Tasmanian landscape while providing essential healthcare services to the community.
Position Details
- Location: North-West Tasmania
- Dates: 23rd-27th December 2024, 6th-10th January 2025, and 13th-20th January 2025
- Hours: Monday-Friday, with shared on-call coverage for the Hospital ED as per the roster
- Remuneration: $2,400 per day (23rd-27th December), $2,000 per day (other dates)
- Benefits: Flights, car, and accommodation provided
Essential Criteria
- Fellowship of the RACGP or ACRRM
- Emergency experience
About the Location
Immerse yourself in a town situated on the far north-west coast of Tasmania, it's the last stop before Arthur River and the beginning of the Tarkine wilderness. Adventure seekers come to explore the Dismal Swamp which has a hidden Blackwood Forest and can be reached by foot. This town makes for a picturesque base camp for nature lovers venturing off into the wilderness beyond. Sitting right on the Bass Strait it's also the perfect spot for surfers to challenge themselves on the massive waves of Marrawah.
