Locum Emergency Department Registrar - NSW

Calling all experienced Emergency Physicians (PGY5+)!

We have a unique locum opportunity available for a highly skilled Emergency Physician to join our team at a hospital in a stunning location on the banks of the Richmond River. This is a short-term placement (July 15th - August 4th, 2024) offering the chance to practice in a beautiful rural setting with flexible arrangements.

The Role:

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients across all acuity levels during day and night shifts.
• Demonstrate competency to function independently as the sole medical practitioner in the Emergency Department during evenings and overnight hours.
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, allied health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team.

Essential Criteria:

• Full registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
• Up-to-date experience and qualifications in Emergency Medicine.
• eMeds Rural Certification (preferred).
