You will provide specialist assessment and treatment to patients in a comfortable, home-like setting, ensuring they receive the care they need without requiring hospitalization. About the Role:

In this locum position, you will play a vital role in:

• Specialist Assessment and Treatment: You will conduct thorough assessments and provide expert treatment plans for patients within their homes.
• Collaborative Care: You will work effectively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• On-Call Availability: On-call responsibilities may be required to provide additional support to patients.

Key Dates:

• Locum Period: June 5th, 2024 - August 2nd, 2024 (flexible start and end dates possible)

Remuneration:

• Competitive hourly rate:
  • $150 per hour (Monday - Friday)
  • $187.50 per hour (Saturday, Sunday, Public Holidays)
• Relocation Support Provided:
  • Flights to and from Tasmania
  • Comfortable accommodation
  • Car provided

What We Need:

• AHPRA Registration: You must be a fully registered medical practitioner with AHPRA.
• Current Medical Indemnity: You must possess current medical indemnity covering both public and private patients.
• Excellent Clinical Skills and Experience: A strong background in medicine with a proven ability to manage diverse patient presentations is essential.
• Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You will build rapport with patients, families, and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
• Compassion and Empathy: A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of patients is crucial.
