A rare opportunity has arisen for a VR GP to join our team at Tenambit Medical Centre in Maitland NSW. We are a privately owned family run practice with a strong emphasis on patient care, staff education, and innovation. We are predominantly a private billing practice with a large client base (you will be booked out very quickly) and very attractive rates with relocation assistance and residency assistance an option if required. Days and times are negotiable with the right candidate and we are happy to discuss options.

We currently have 4 doctors and 3 nurses who provide full support to our doctors in the practice. Their focus areas include immunisation, travel vaccinations, skin checks, minor procedures, wound care, care plans, diabetic care, ear syringing and off-site health assessments. Our clinical staff are supported by a professional, efficient and knowledgeable reception team and we also have in house psychologists, dietitians and pathology.

Tenambit Medical Centre has a strong reputation in the Maitland area for the high quality of care provided and the friendliness and professionalism of our team; as a result, we are typically booked out up to three weeks in advance with constant calls from prospective patients to come to our practice..

As a suburb of the regional city of Maitland we are fortunate to be located 30 minutes to the Hunter Valley and vineyards, 20 minutes to the beaches of Newcastle, 40 minutes to Nelsons Bay and only 1.5 hrs from Sydney.
