General Practitioner

You will work alongside a caring, thorough, holistic team of GPs, Psychologists, Nurses and Aboriginal Health Practitioners working in a trauma informed environment to provide comprehensive primary care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families. 

We can offer full time or negotiable part time hours to the right candidate(s). This is a salaried position with all the financial benefits of salaried employment: 

244K per annum pro rata

PLUS 12% superannuation

PLUS 4 weeks paid annual leave pro rata 10 days paid sick leave pro rata

PLUS ~$16K salary packaging per annum

PLUS up to $3K CPD funding support (pro rata)

PLUS full Nursing and Aboriginal Health Practitioner support

This total package equates to >$300K value per year for a full time position with NO WEEKENDS OR EVENINGS! We offer opportunities to teach, lead, contribute to preventive health initiatives, supervise registrars and support the development of Australia's future Indigenous health workforce.  The clinic is in Thomastown and is 19AB exempt for overseas trained doctors.  This is a rare opportunity as our turnover of doctors is very low.
