General Practitioner

GP /One Day per week/ Canyonleigh, Southern Highlands, NSW

Southern Highlands Addiction Retreat is a new residential facility due to open April 2024. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced General Practitioner for one day a week to join our team.

Situated on a picturesque 40-hectare property in Canyonleigh, Southern Highlands Addiction Retreat offers a peaceful environment for individuals seeking recovery from addiction. 

As the On-Site Doctor (General Practitioner), you will be responsible for providing medical care and support to our guests, addressing their general health needs, and facilitating any necessary medical requirements. This includes conducting health assessments on new admissions, prescribing medications, monitoring treatment progress, and coordinating with external healthcare providers as needed. Your expertise, empathy, and commitment to delivering high-quality care will be integral to the well-being and recovery of our guests.

The role will not involve detoxing patients or any clinical procedures.

It is a relaxed role without time pressures and accordingly is highly rewarding.

We have owned and operated Gunnebah Addiction Retreat in Northern NSW for seven years. As the co-owner of both retreats and the practicing GP/Medical Director at Gunnebah I will be available to help establish and support this role.

$100 000 to $110 000 per year.
