Job Description

• Develop a roster of patients by providing compassionate, professional care

• Develop a loyal patient base through the image of a modern, professional medical practice with an old-styled family doctor approach to caring for our family of patients

• See patients daily in the office, prescribing medication or therapy where necessary, along with recommend lifestyle changes as appropriate

• Explain all medical procedures thoroughly

• Explain test results and provide patients with relevant care plan details

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records about each patient, including clinical observations

• Comply with all Commonwealth and State laws applicable to general practice

• Consult with other practitioners as required about patient’s specific needs

Your role will be as an independent contractor with clinical autonomy and able to take advantage of flexible working conditions. Our practice currently has a highly regarded team of two GP’s and two Nurse Practitioners (NP’s). It is a mixed billing centre open Monday to Friday, with a vital, growing patient base. Our recently completed facility includes a large treatment room capable of performing skin and other procedures, 7 consulting rooms for GP’s and allied health. The practice is located next to pathology and a shopping centre with a pharmacy.

We are a fully Accredited Medical Centre and a member of the Rural Doctors Association of Queensland.
