General Practice Nursing Position Available at East Clinic Ipswich

We are currently seeking to employ a nurse to join our vibrant team, as soon as possible.

East Clinic is a high volume, 10 doctor, general practice, located in the heart of Ipswich City’s medical precinct. Our practice is a non-corporate, family- based clinic which has been established for more than 40 years.

The position will include a set 2/3 days per fortnight (with the potential to increase over time). Also days will increase during holiday periods and for staff sick leave etc.

To be successful, the individual must always exhibit the highest level of professionalism, patient care, interpersonal and communication skills. They also must be able to work independently at times, with GP’s and with the supportive reception team.

The role will include, but is not limited to: wound care, immunisations, health assessments and chronic disease management. As such we expect sound knowledge in these areas. Experience in care plans is highly preferred and valued, but not essential.

East Clinic uses Medical Director and Pracsoft programs, however, experience in these applications is not necessary as we provide onsite training.

All candidates must have current AHPRA registration.
