The Company

Finders Avenue Surgery is a well-established and accredited general practice located at Whyalla Stuart in South Australia.

We are currently looking for friendly and organised Registered Practice Nurses to
Join our team. Immediate start is required.

We are open to candidates who would like to relocate from interstate as well.

Qualifications & Experience
• Current AHPRA Registration as a registered nurse required
• Police and working with children/NDIS certificates
• Practice indemnity insurance.
• Valid Immunisation Status
• Experience in chronic disease management and health assessments or the willingness to learn
• Exceptional computer skills (previous experience with General Practice software not essential but highly recommended, especially (Best Practice).
• Dedication to the provision of the highest standard of Nursing Care with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to multi-task, prioritise and work well within a team
• Proven ability to work with integrity and maintain a high level of confidentiality

Tasks & Responsibilities
• GP and Team Care Chronic Disease Management Plans 
• Health assessments
• Assisting GPs with minor surgical procedures
• Wound management
• ECG (training will be provided if not trained)

• Venepuncture (training will be provided if not trained)
• Child and Adult Immunisations
• Cold chain management
• Infection control management
• Stock ordering and management

• Triage and respond to medical emergencies
• Recalling patients for preventive and health promotion
processes

• The practice is located at Shop 9, One Stop Shopping Centre at Whyalla Stuart, and has ample car parking for staff.
The practice is also close to the Westland Shopping Centre, schools, and other recreational centres.
