Simply Stronger was created as a place where clients gain a deeper understanding of exercise and the enormous impact it can have on each of us. Through a personalised approach we empower our clients to take control of their own health through support, guidance and ultimately education. 

We pride ourselves on being experts in exercise prescription and the key to this is again education. Monthly team professional development, ongoing mentoring and regular one on one training are some of the tools we use to achieve this. We believe in nurturing the talents and ideas of our staff, enabling you to become the best version of yourself.

Role involves

• One on one, partner and small group sessions with clients involving resistance, aerobic and pilates all onsite and hydro and home sessions offsite.
• Mix of clientele, private,, NDIS, TAC and workcover.
• Coaching clients through lifestyle change while developing home, gym or hydro programs for clientele.
• Use of Cliniko for note taking, appointment booking and payments - full training provided.
• Report writing for insurers such as NDIS, TAC and workcover - support and training provided.
• Developing connections with GPs and other health professionals.
• The opportunity for social media contribution: you can find us on Instagram and Facebook.
• Internal and external professional development sessions, monthly team and weekly one on one.

Desired skills

• A desire to create change within a client centered approach.
• Ability to build rapport and create a safe and welcoming environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Pilates experience - Mat pilates, reformer and trapeze table would be an advantage or willingness to undertake training.
• An unquenchable thirst to learn, grow and develop, both personally and to support those around you to do the same.

 
Required qualifications

• Graduate Diploma or Masters of Exercise Rehabilitation/Physiology or equivalent
• ESSA Accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist
• Current CPR and First Aid certificate
• Public Liability Insurance
• Police check, working with children check and NDIS Provider Screen.
• Capacity to acquire a Medicare provider number
