An incredibly rewarding opportunity awaits at this impressive multi-disciplinary dental and medical centre in inner-west Sydney, which is funded via an altruistic, celebrated Foundation that has helped the lives of millions of Australians.

The foundation houses both dental and medical clinics, as well as providing case workers, podiatrists, and chiropractors all on hand to treat marginalised members of the community – the homeless and rough sleepers, victims of domestic violence, trauma, and mental health. The patients understand this service is a privilege and there has never been a notable incident to at the centre.

The Foundation also provides meals to average 45,000 people per month and have fed approximately 9 million people over 30 years tireless service to the community.

You may be at a point in your career where contributing to the wellbeing of disadvantaged Australians via your skills as a dentist is appealing.

Many staff are volunteers however on offer here are 3 paid days, with flexible hours. You would join two other part-time dentists on-staff.

Hours can be 9.00am to 2.30pm if you have kids for example, or 8am-4pm if you want longer hours. The client’s preferred days for you are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday however the clinic is open Monday to Friday, so an agreeable schedule is highly possible.

You have allocated free parking an easy walk from the centre.

Your permanent rate is up to $85 per hour plus super, equating to approximately $100 per hour if you were a casual.

Salary sacrifice is included in your package, to a maximum $15,900. You can apply a tax-free salary sacrifice for items like rent and car repayments to name just a few items, further enhancing the package.

You will perform a basic scope of work, such as check-up and cleans, fillings, extractions, stage 1 root canals, dentures and paediatric dentistry.

Recent graduates or overseas dentists with newly awarded AHPRA registration that can confidently perform this scope will be considered.

The successful applicant will have:

• A BDS degree
• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
