Your most important job will be to go the extra mile to ensure that our patients are welcomed and put at ease. We know how daunting a trip to the dentist can be! We are now looking to grow our team and would encourage both junior and senior dental assistants to apply.

Our 3-chair clinic is spacious, bright and modern and fully equipped with the latest technology. We provide a full range of general dental services, and also offer the opportunity to gain experience assisting with surgical procedures.

You will be part of a small, tight-knit team, so the right person will be someone with a strong work ethic and integrity that we can depend upon. This also means that you will not just be working in the surgery but will be exposed to other elements of practice operation, including front desk/reception and infection control. On-the-job training will be provided where required, including mentoring by experienced clinicians.

We are open regular business hours Monday-Friday, with a late finish on Tuesday (8:00pm). The role is ideally for a four days per week position.

Role Description

This is a full-time role as a Dental Assistant at Goodwood Dental in Adelaide, SA. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting dental professionals during patient procedures, preparing treatment rooms and managing patient records. Some reception work will be required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of dental assisting experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Good general knowledge of dental services and procedures
• Attention to detail and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with assisting with surgical procedures and/or stock ordering would be highly regarded but not essential.
• Customer service skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients.
• Experience using Dental for Windows (D4W)
