Dance Physiotherapist
We believe that dance is more than an art—it’s a sport too. Our approach to dance physiotherapy is built on this foundation, treating dancers as performance athletes who require specialized, sports medicine focused care. We believe in proactive health management, equipping dancers to understand, communicate and independently manage their bodies. This ensures that they’re not just performance-ready, but also resilient and well-informed about their own health and recovery needs. Their unique needs and goals shape the care we provide, ensuring every piece of advice and treatment is specific to the intricacy of their training load, competition or performance calendar and stage of development.
At Inform Physio & Co, we recognize the unique challenges artistic athletes face. We provide a space where commercial and ballet dancers, aerial artists, gymnasts, cheerleaders, and acrobats find not just treatment and supplementary training, but a community that prioritizes their health and wellbeing and speaks their language. We’re here to support the performing artist's journey, offering a comprehensive and individualized approach to injury assessment, rehabilitation, technique analysis, flexibility, and strength conditioning.
What We Are Looking For
We are very passionate about providing a healthcare base to support our community of dancers, performing artists, and artistic and high performing athletes on the Gold Coast and in South East Queensland. Our current Physio's having long standing connections and relationships with majority of the Gold Coast performing arts industry, through many years of their own training, to teaching various dance styles across a large number of schools, and through their ongoing reputation developed over many years for providing high-quality, team-focused and performance-orientated physiotherapy in a language that our community speaks!
We are brand new opening in 2024 and already reaching maximum booking capacity within our first few months! We are currently located in Burleigh Heads, QLD in a new clinic space completely designed and fit out to complement the needs of our client base including a large gym space for group exercise and pilates classes. We are growing fast and are keeping our eyes open for potential team members who have skills to offer in our area of focus and share our passion of building informed and in form performers!
