ASHM is Australasia’s peak professional body of workers in HIV, viral hepatitis, sexual and reproductive health. We deliver the training, develop the guidelines, and advocate for the needs of our members and communities. ASHM maintains the accreditation for prescribers of important HIV and HBV therapies and is an independent and trusted Public Health Organisation. Our members are GPs, physicians, nurses, researchers, epidemiologists, social workers and allied health workers – united to helping our diverse communities to live longer and better.

  About the role

This position plays a major role in supporting the implementation of Beyond the C: Hepatitis C Elimination in Your Practice, a Hepatitis C Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) project to primary care services across Australia.

  About you

You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in primary care (E.g. General Practice, Aboriginal Medical Services, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services). You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain operational relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Importantly, you will have demonstrated experience leading clinical audits and QI initiatives in primary care services along with an understanding of recall and reminder systems, data, clinical software and extraction systems within a primary care setting.

Tertiary qualifications recognised by the regulation authority as a registered Nurse and/or Aboriginal Health Practitioner and current AHPRA registration is required.

The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and project participants, prioritise your workload and meet project deadlines is essential.
